STEVEN ROBERTSON (Michael Connolly)
Rory O'Shea Was Here marks Steven Robertson's first feature film. Since its completion, he has worked on Ridley Scott's Kingdom of Heaven (with Orlando Bloom) and Laurence Dunmore's The Libertine (with Johnny Depp), and is currently at work on Christian Carion's Merry Christmas (with Diane Kruger).
Born and raised in Shetland, he was locally admired for his skill at entertaining crowds in village halls and folk festivals. In 1997, he moved to Kirkcaldy to study drama at Fife College, before going on to train at the prestigious Guildhall.
Mr. Robertson has worked steadily since his graduation, playing Kent in the RSC Academy production of Shakespeare's King Lear, which was followed by a highly acclaimed portrayal of Konstantin in Greg Hersov's production of Chekhov's The Seagull at the Manchester Royal Exchange.
